Tired of being wet and cold after a dive? Want to stay warm even on very deep dives? Or are you interested in making the most of your certification by extending your dive season into earlier or later months? Then the PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty class is what you need!
Expand your boundaries. Dive more places. The PADI Dry Suit specialty course will set you on your way to exploring new worlds you never imagined.
In the PADI Dry Suit Specialty course, you will learn how to safely dive a dry suit. In the classroom you will learn:
If you are thinking about purchasing a dry suit, we will help you understand the various types of suits and what options are available on today’s dry suits. We will show you the latest seals, dry gloves, pockets, and zipper options to ensure you get the suit that meets your needs.
Then it’s off to the pool where you will get a chance to practice basic buoyancy skills. No more using the BCD underwater. We will show you how to hover using just your dry suit. We will practice dealing with stuck inflators, excessive air in the feet, and other safety-related situations.
Once you are comfortable with the new skills, it’s off to the lake where you will do two exciting dives in a dry suit. Here you will get a taste of what it is like to dive in dry suit under real conditions.
