Aquatic Adventures, Inc. Orientation and class summary. Pick up books and complete paperwork. View course video. Knowledge Development Session 1: Introduction to photo equipment. Camera assembly and preparation.
Aquatic Adventures, Inc. Knowledge Development Session 2: Digital basics and composition. Pool preparation and practice with cameras. Read Section One in the Digital Underwater Photographer Manual and complete Knowledge Review Level One before class.
Klotsche Center. Level One confined water skin dive or scuba dive: Camera use and basic composition.
Klotsche Center. Level Two confined water skin dive or scuba dive: Advanced composition and white balancing.
Aquatic Adventures, Inc. Knowledge Development Session 3: Working with strobes and digital workflow. Read pages 35-57 in the Digital Underwater Photographer Manual.
Pearl Lake. South Beloit, IL. Open water dives. Approximate travel time from downtown Milwaukee is 1 hour and 15 minutes. A $20 entry fee will be collected each day by Pearl Lake Club.

UWM RENTAL POLICY: Students will be issued life support equipment for open water dives. There is no charge for using this equipment provided the student completes all dives in one weekend. Normal rental fees will apply to any additional days needed to complete certification. All rented equipment may be used only by the student it is issued to and only for purposes of scuba training in this course. Use for any other purpose is strictly prohibited. Any student found in violation of this policy will be expelled from class and all course fees will be forfeited.
During the time of rental, students are responsible for the proper care of the rented gear as outlined in the PADI Open Water Diver manual. Students will be charged for any damage to equipment that is the result of negligence, including exposure to heat or cold. Students will also be charged for the return of equipment that has not been properly rinsed following open water training.
All rental equipment is due back to Aquatic Adventures, Inc. by 4:00 p.m. following the conclusion of open water training. Students who pick up equipment and then fail to show up for open water training must return their gear by 4:00 p.m. on the next day. Any student who fails to return gear at the appropriate time will be charged the standard rental charge for each day the equipment is late. No certifications or university grades will be issued to students who fail to return their gear or have outstanding balances with Aquatic Adventures, Inc. that are the result of late returns or damage due to negligence. Equipment that is not returned within 3 business days of the return date will be considered stolen and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
