Merriam-Scuba Dictionary word

“Gear up”  -Verb
1. : The act of donning a scuba suit, placing a BCD over a scuba tank, hooking a first stage up to the tank and BCD, and finally struggling to get the kit on your back.
2. : A thing a scuba instructor says to try and get an idle class moving. Often accompanied by: “Let’s get in the water” or “Let’s go dive!”
