Sitting 25 miles east of Belize City, Turneffe Atoll is just a boat ride across the Belize Barrier Reef to the mangrove lagoon where our resort is located.
Belize is known for being located on the Mesoamerican Reef System. This reef system is referred to as the “Jewel of the Caribbean” and is the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. Blackbird Caye Resort is located on Turneffe Atoll, which is part of this reef system. This reef shares similarities to the Great Barrier Reef and both are considered two of the best dive sites in world because the coral and marine life found here are truly spectacular.
Blackbird Caye Resort offers an intimate and exclusive setting for rest, relaxing and diving. Our Belize dive travel package features three all inclusive meals served each day, with a buffet for breakfast and lunch, and Belizean style dinners in the Palapa Restaurant. Each evening after the 3 dive or 2 snorkeling trips offered each day, you are welcome to join happy hour at High Tide Bar, bonfires, karaoke, and a Caribbean Night for the evening entertainment.
