The PADI Oxygen Provider Course is designed to educate the general diving (and non-diving) public in recognizing possible dive-related injuries.

This class then teaches how to provide emergency oxygen and first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. Be more prepared, book an Emergency Oxygen Provider class today!
What the Course Covers
From dive injuries and emergency oxygen equipment to safety considerations this class will prepare you for an emergency oxygen situation. In this class you will learn:
- How to assemble and disassemble emergency oxygen equipment
- How to deploy a non-rebreather mask and demand inhaler valve on a breathing diver
- How to use a pocket mask on a nonbreathing diver
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this class! Divers, snorkelers, boat crews, and anyone who is around divers can benefit from taking this class.
What's Included in the Course Fee
Our course fee includes the following:
- PADI Specialty manual
- One classroom session
- PADI Specialty certification fee
- Use of the oxygen unit

What's Not Included
- We do not include course DVDs. Most PADI specialties require you to view a video. Check with one of our training consultants by calling (262) 938-6827 to find out if this course requires you to view a DVD. If so, you can elect to purchase a DVD from Aquatic Adventures or come to the store to watch the video prior to your classroom session or open water dives.
