Do you have a busy schedule? Are you looking for the convenience of learning scuba when you have the time? Do you prefer an online format where readings and videos are provided in a fully integrated format? Then our eLearning programs are the perfect choice for your scuba training.
What is PADI eLearning?
PADI eLearning is part of the premium scuba training provided by Aquatic Adventures. Unlike traditional classroom programs that can require more than 10 hours of classroom time, our students enjoy online learning in the comfort of their homes and at the time of their choosing. This independent online training is coupled with hands-on pool and/or open water training provided by our professional staff of PADI scuba instructors and divemasters.
Currently, Aquatic Adventures includes PADI eLearning in the course fee for Beginning Scuba (Open Water Diver), Try Scuba (Discover Scuba Diving) and all other core PADI classes such as Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster. We also include eLearning home study for 90% of our PADI specialties, Emergency First Response classes, and other PADI classes. See our complete list on our Scuba Training Courses page.
How PADI eLearning Works
When you register for a scuba course at Aquatic Adventures where PADI eLearning is available, you will get a special code to access your online scuba course. The code will be included in an email from padidiver@padi.com. Look for this email after you register or when our sales team tells you the code is assigned. There should also be an email asking you to complete online liability forms. Follow the directions in these emails to register and access your online class.

PADI eLearning for Beginning Scuba
By far our most popular PADI eLearning course is our beginning scuba course. This eLearning program allows you to complete your classroom training for the beginner certification online. Typically, students need 10 to 15 hours to complete the online work, and we ask that the online training is completed before you start your pool dives.
The PADI eLearning course is available for iOS and Android users, but can be accessed with an internet connection by those with tradition PCs. The program is downloadable, highly interactive, and provides maximum flexibility and mobility. Since the course videos and other material reside on your iOS or Android device, an internet connection is not required after installation. This is ideal for students on the go who may wish to complete eLearning while on a plane, at the beach, or anywhere an Internet connection is not available.
All of our students receive an activation code when they register for the beginning scuba class. The cost of the course is non-refundable and no discounts are provided to students who purchase eLearning courses elsewhere. We strongly recommend that you sign up for our beginning scuba class before starting any online training.
Once Aquatic Adventures has submitted your name, email address, and birthdate to PADI, you will receive an email with your activation code.
Why Buy Your eLearning From Aquatic Adventures
When you enroll in an Aquatic Adventures PADI course, we include your PADI eLearning course in our course fee. Because we are a PADI 5 Star Dive Center, we offer a substantial discount on eLearning to our students.
Because Aquatic Adventures subsidizes PADI materials for all students who register for our classes, we cannot provide discounts to students who purchase online training elsewhere at a higher price. DO NOT self-register for any PADI eLearning classes or purchase your eLearning course elsewhere as this will increase your cost of the class. This is true even when PADI issues codes through promotions at 20% discounts.
