Racine Quarry is another one of Wisconsin’s beautiful in-land lakes left over after a quarrying period in 1853. There are a few old cars in the deepest part of this lake along with an old safe and slot machines. There is also a beach and fishing area along the lake for hours of underwater and above water fun.

IMPORTANT: All students should meet in the the parking lot located near the beach house. An entrance fee will be collected from the attendant at the park entrance. You will be asked to complete a form stating that you will be diving in the quarry.

Maximum depth: 90 Feet
Average dive depth: 40-50 Feet

From Downtown Milwaukee:

Take I-94 South toward Chicago.
Exit I-94 at Hwy K in Racine County (approximately 20 miles).
Take Hwy K East until it joins Hwy 38.
Follow Hwy 38 until you reach the park entrance.
The Racine Quarry will be on the right side of the road shortly after Hwy 38 intersects with Hwy 31.
