Lakeshore State Park is typically used for the Beach Cleanup in September. Because of the park's proximity to the Summerfest grounds, diving is restricted. A permit must be obtained prior to diving.

Take I-94 East to Milwaukee.
Follow signs for Interstate 794 E/Lakefront/Port of Milwaukee.
Merge into I-794 W.
Take exit toward N Jackson St signs for Jackson St/Van Buren St/ Route 794/Port of Milwaukee.
Keep left at the fork to continue toward N Jackson St.
Turn right onto N Jackson St.
Turn left onto E Chicago St.
Turn Right onto N Harbor Dr.

Take I-94 West (north direction) towards Milwaukee.
Take exit 310C toward Lakefront.
