The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because diving enriched air means you can safely extend your bottom times, reduce your surface intervals, and perform multiple dives in a single day with extended no-decompression times. Diving enriched air means you will get the most out of your next dive and your next dive trip.
What the Course Covers
The PADI Enriched Air Diver class involves completing the PADI Enriched Air eLearning program prior to class. You will bring your eLearning completion form with you, or your instructor can help you print it. Your instructor will have you complete a Quick Quiz to verify your understanding of the material and answer any questions you may have.
Then it's on to the practical application. Your Aquatic Adventures instructor will show you how we blend enriched air, teach you the basic skills of analyzing your tank contents and show you how to complete the paperwork for obtaining an enriched air fill. Topics include:
- Managing oxygen exposure
- Practicing analyzing oxygen content in your tank
- Setting your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox
After you have performed the necessary skills needed for diving with enriched air, you will receive your Enriched Air certification.
Class Schedule
Our quick and flexible scheduling for the PADI Enriched Air Diver course means you will spend less time in the classroom and more time diving. We schedule classes regularly, but you can start your course at any time by registering for our JAN 1. Once you register for the class, and we will send you a code for your eLearning at home training. Once you have completed the eLearning program, call Aquatic Adventures to schedule a time to meet with one of our instructors one-on-one. Generally, it takes about 1 hours to complete the course with your instructor.
Prerequisites
- 12 years old or older
- PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification from another agency

- Classroom training in gas analysis and enriched air dive planning
- Use of oxygen analyzers during your class
- Use of dive computers during your class
- (You are encouraged to bring your dive computer with you to class if you have one)
