The Delta 5 second stage features a pneumatically balanced all-metal valve that reduces breathing resistance and delivers effortless airflow throughout the dive. Divers can fine-tune performance using the Dynamic Technology control knob and a dive/pre-dive Venturi Switch, allowing optimal airflow while preventing free flow at the surface. Paired with the eDX over-balanced diaphragm first stage, the system provides stable intermediate pressure and increased gas delivery at depth. The environmentally sealed design protects internal components from contaminants such as sand, salt, and silt, while an integrated heat exchanger improves cold-water performance.
