Scupper Valve

The lower section of both the Atomic SV1 and Atomic SV2 (semi-dry) enable any water entering the top of the snorkel to bypasses the mouthpiece completely and exit out the purge valve at the bottom of the snorkel. If water does enter the internal tube, the small one-way Scupper flap valve near the base of the snorkel prevents water from splashing back toward the mouthpiece. This patent pending design results in a remarkably drier breathing snorkel.
