Annual Dive Picnic

In the Summer of 1999, a group of friends got together at Devils Lake for a dive. They brought some food to grill, spent some time talking about diving, and went for a hike through the State Park. A tradition was born, and when Aquatic Adventures was formed some five months later, the tradition continued as the Aquatic Adventures Annual Dive Picnic.

The Aquatic Adventures Dive Picnic is held at the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex, located southwest of Kenosha and just east of I-94. The picnic is open to divers and non-divers, adults and children. The dive picnic features a treasure dive, a picnic lunch, games, and much more! Advanced reservations are required, so make sure to sign up today by either registering here or calling us at (262) 938-6827.

Schedule of Events

Feel free to arrive any time after 9:00 a.m. Greeters will be stationed in the parking lot to check you in and guide you to our site. Make sure you find a DiveAAI staff member when you arrive. 

Dive for Treasure – 10:00 a.m.

Our tradition of diving for treasure will continue this year. In the past, more than 50 people participated in the dive. Don’t miss this exciting event that is open to all certified divers. Not certified? Sign up for our Beginning Scuba class and get certified before the picnic. There are great prizes for those lucky enough to locate our hidden bottles!

Buffet Lunch – 12:00 p.m.

You won’t want to miss our legendary buffet lunch. There’s something on the grill that everyone can enjoy, and there are plenty of sides and desserts to tempt your taste buds.

Treasure Dive Awards – 1:00 p.m.

Find out what you and your fellow underwater treasure divers won. Didn’t make the dive? Don’t worry, there may be a prize for you too!
