The Hollis 150LX Octopus is a pneumatically balanced second stage with a chrome-plated brass valve. The Hollis 150LX second comes standard with a reversible demand valve that can easily be converted from a right-handed to a left-handed configuration. The large Venturi lever has a soft rubber grip, making it easy to locate and use.

The Hollis 150LX Octopus is similar to the 200LX second stage but does not have PVD plating. The 150LX also comes standard with an improved orthodontic mouthpiece and MiFlex braided hose.
